         - The Plum Creek Library System is a network of 25 libraries that can be accessed thru PALS.

  • The Plum Creek System is also connected to the Minnesota Library Information Network (www.mnlink.org).
  • We have electronic card catalog which connects us to all the 25 libraries in our system.
  • If we don't have it and the Plum Creek System doesn't have it, we can contact a reference librarian in Worthington that can order or find out information on almost anything and everything.

  • We have Internet service available for our patrons.
  • We can also order cake pans through the Marshall library.

    Christian Fiction:

    A new edition of a classic historical romance set in post-war England follows wealthy Michael Wallengham, blinded in the war, who falls in love with Elizabeth Duckwarth, his caretaker, against the wishes of his family. A House Divided is by Catherine Cookson.

    In Danielle Steel's The Wedding, a Hollywood wedding sets the scene for a vivid protrayal of a prominent family whose hopes and fears are as real as our own.


    Mystery:

    The Other Daughter is by Lisa Gardner. Melanie Stokes has lost all memory of her past prior to her adoption at age 9 by a wealthy couple. Then events from 20 years ago collide in an explosion of truth that jeopardizes the young woman's life.

    Mary Higgins Clark delves into the mystery of psychic powers and communications with the dead in her new thriller Before I Say Good-bye.

    Irish Eyes is by Andrew M. Greeley. Both Nuala and her daughter have sensed strange vibrations from a place on the Lake where a shipload of Irish Americans lost their lives a hundred years ago. They begin to work on unraveling the mystery of why and how the ship was sunk and what might be at the bottom of the Lake. They make some dangerous enemies and eventually have to solve a murder and find a buried treasure.


    Non-Fiction:

    A true story of murder, mystery and a dangerous love by Margie Danielsen is Tainted Roses.

    Romance:
